PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CONFERENCE IS OPEN TO STA MEMBERS AND INVITED GUESTS ONLY.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

The Shakespeare Theatre Association's 2015 Conference will be held in and around the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel, January 7-10, 2015, with our Education Practicum January 5-7, 2015.  Registration is simple and open to all members in good standing with dues paid through 2014, and NEW members who have 2015 Dues.  Here are the steps!

1. To Register for the 2015 Conference click here. This link will open a new window, taking you to the registration and hotel booking page.
2. Once you've registered, make sure you also book your room(s) at the Fairmont.  It is IMPERATIVE that all members stay at the Fairmont in order for everyone to receive the best rates.
3. Once you have made your reservation at the Fairmont, come back and click here to learn more about the 2015 Conference Bursary (open to Organizational Members who paid 2014 Dues and Members with budgets under $1.5mm).  Only attendees who stay at the Fairmont will be eligible to receive a bursary.

The central focus of STA is the Annual Conference.

Once a year we gather at the home of one of our member theaters to share information directly relating to the production of Shakespeare’s plays. Recent keynote speakers have included Antoni Cimolino, Artistic Director of the Stratford Festival, Tina Packer, Founder of Shakespeare & Company, Bill Rauch, Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare scholar Alan Dessen, and Dana Gioia, Former Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts.
